Woodlands Lacrosse 2009

The boys had a great lacrosse season......lots of good friends, lots of goals, lots of saves, lots of wins and only 2 losses! Here is the Woodlands Junior High Lacrosse 2009 season in pictures.
Perspective!
5 City Championships in a Row...not too shabby.

From the mouth of Emma

Emma's preschool teacher has the students in her class dictate stories to her. After she writes them down, the author gets to assign the characters that they've written about to other children in the class and they act out the story. I'd like to share Emma's story from today!

The Grounded Sister

I was going to a play date, but I was grounded so I just stayed home and cleaned the bathroom. Then we went to Chick-fil-A. My sister threw up all over my cheeseburger. Then we went home and my Mom punched my sister into her room because she threw up all over my cheeseburger. And then I went to my play date. The End!

REALLY? There was a sweet note with an arrow pointing to "my Mom punched my sister" that said "Em told me this was not true". We called Steve and read him the story. He died laughing....I was speechless..........pretty much nothing is this story is true. I guess Emma is a wonderful fiction writer.

Just to clear the air: I've never grounded my children and made them clean the bathroom but it's not a bad idea. With four children and four bathrooms that may be my new cleaning plan. Actually Emma and Audrey have actually never been grounded, unless you call sitting on the bottom step for two minutes being grounded. If so, I'm sure their brothers will jump on that! Just in case I need to say it, I've never punched anyone in this house....or actually anyone ever, I guess!

And to the parents of the children that Emma assigned to act this out, Sorry! Emma played herself and assigned one of her friends to be the barfing sister and another was the violent Mommy Dearest!

When do you think CPS will be here to take me away?
